Quick Overview

This authentic piece of Bradman Oval wicket soil has been hand-selected from the Bowral heritage listed site.

Don Bradman played his first match aged 12 on Glebe Park in Bowral, which was renamed Bradman Oval in his honour in 1947.

Bradman Oval is his true home ground: it is where he honed his cricket skill as a young boy, in the town where he lived, and met his wife Jessie. It is where both their ashes were scattered in October 2001 and now rest.

When you hold this artefact in your hand, you are holding an authentic piece of Bradman Oval wicket soil, a part of cricket's heritage.
